The Space Waraku

As a wife and a mother, all of my works can be made because of the understanding of my family and friends.  Also, I can do because of the people, who love my works.  Thank you!

I believe my works can help the people to understand the Japanese culture, or one Japanese, who lives in the United States.  I hope my works will enrich the many lives.

I started the Space Waraku from 2007.  By the help, understanding, and love to my works, still I can continue to create new works.  I wish I can keep my world with the spirit of fun and curiosity.  I.K. (April 2009)  

As a Japanese, who came from the northern part of Japan, the earthquake, tsunami, and the incidents of nuclear plant, are really sad and shocking.  We are affected a lot.  I really hope this sadness will be healed.  March 2011 

When I came here in 2001 to study from Japan, I have never imagined to start the business by my crafts.  Or I never imagined I would enjoy to make them so much.  I believe that the creating many beautiful works help me to overcome the new circumstances in my life here, U.S.A., and create the enjoyable life.  I sincerely want to say all the people, who enrich the knowledge of culture of Japan, U.S.A., and Russia (Europe) in my past.  (2009)
